Works perfectly, its also the only app that allows my first gen ipad to push audio AND video to my apple tv so i can enjoy my content on big screen without having to mess around with itunes at all! Perfect!

Stream Viewer has been the answer to all my video streaming needs on both iPhone and iPad. It is as if they knew all the features I wanted and built it for me. Streaming is great, online help is well documented, you can add multiple accounts where you limit which folders you want your kids to access and they cannot go around that protection, you can download videos for later viewing offline or when wifi is not fast enough for streaming live, you can lock the app with a PIN. Need I say more. Together with Video Safe, this is one of my most used apps and while it is not perfect (ie it can crash once in a blue moon), it is very solid and deserves Kudos.

Waste of time this app is totally crap!

The app and server can only play one movie at a time, any other device playing a separate movie will freeze. The 2nd movie on the 2nd device can cause the app to crash. Also notice the app will randomly stop playing the original movie and start another. Overall the app is OK however its not better than Air Video. On the plus side local conversion is good and it has better CPU management than Air Video.

"Cannot connect to server" even though I am connected to wifi. I shouldve listened to the other reviews saying that it was no good...

I wasted three dollars on this and then it says that it "Cant connect to server" it was truly a disappointment

Its not worth a penny

This app is only compatible with old 2.4 ghz routers, and doesnt work on 5ghz ones. Waste of money.

Do not waste your money on this crap !!! When I open the app all it does is tell me that its searching server mean while I have awesome connection this is BULL S%#+

This was terrible and I should not be charged for this app. Could not even get it to Connect to Server. Same problem as others.

This is a total waste of money. The advertising makes you think you can stream video from the net to your IPad or TV. A bunch of crap. If there were a way to get my money back I would. This kind of crap should be monitored by a quality control system instead of having people getting sucked into garbage apps. Ask me if I am happy.

A much prettier and faster user interface. Glad I finally found this app. People who rate this app five stars, make sure you download the server app first on your Mac or PC. The app should do a better job at explaining that on first launch (as opposed to suggest walking you through a whole tutorial).

Unless your laptop is turned on and is within proximity with the show already downloaded you cant watch anything

Out of the box, it says it cant find a server and provides no useful feedback--like what kind of server it is looking for. I have tried a dozen other media player apps (plex, media connect, infuse, AirPlayer...) and every one of them found my shares and dlna servers.

Ive been using Video Stream for months now and love it. It handles all sorts of video formats and seamlessly sends them to my Apple TV over my wifi network.

Great app. The first few versions need work. But all the issues have been addressed and now this is my favourite app. Great job. Looking forwarded to new up dates
